Use Zapier to trigger on order-status changes and check a VIP tag (customer metafield). For regular customers: insert order variables into a short template and call ChatGPT with a minimal prompt or cheaper model to draft replies. For VIPs: use a richer prompt and route drafts to a human for quick edits. Cache common messages, limit context sent to the model, and track tokens to control per-message cost.
